Does Omega-6 reduces risk of diabetes?

There has been lots of talk about how Omega 6 fats and oils may help prevent diabetes. So where do you find these fats?  What foods are they found in? Examples of Omega 6 fats include linoleic acid which is not created in the body and can only be derived from the diet. Other foods containing O6 include seed oils such as flaxseed, grapeseed and sunflower oils, and nuts which include pine, almonds, walnuts and pecan. Other sources of omega 6 are eggs and chicken. It is also found in such foods as beans, avocado and seed oils such as soybean and evening primrose oil.

Also in the past Evening primrose oil capsules were well known for the use and assistance with women’s health issues.
