Working in a busy and stressful hospital environment has contributed largely to my high blood pressure condition. As strokes, high cholesterol and heart disease also run in the family, I had to finally give in and agree to take blood pressure medication. It took a number of trials of different medications to find one that did not give me stomach pains, nausea and other horrible side affects. But I am always on the lookout for natural remedies to lower blood pressure.
As you probably have realized from previous posts, I am not one to take conventional medications lightly. My theory is that the cure to all is found naturally around us, whether as food or in nature, like aspirin which comes from the willow tree, herbal remedies or even just in common foods that we eat everyday. There are a number of books out there that have various ideas like this, such as- “You are what you Eat”. I forget who wrote this book but it proposed that many of the health problems you may develop are by not eating certain foods. I remember in my case- it was in regards to celery. Celery is supposed to be good for blood pressure and arthritis. I didn’t particularly like celery and rarely ate it.
Another idea I had, was that any time I ended up taking any medications – something else would come up. Its like taking your car to the mechanic to fix something then when you got home something else would go wrong. The time I took antibiotics for a tooth abscess, I ended up with candida, as a result of killing off all the natural flora in my gut. So I then had to take another tablet to kill that, as well as, take lots of probiotics to restore the natural environment in the digestive tract.
As a result of this, I am always on the lookout for natural ways to combat high blood pressure and other conditions. I came across this video on Youtube posted by a doctor and decided to try it out. After 5 minutes of doing what was recommended, (I have my own blood pressure monitor) my blood pressure of 121/67 dropped to 111/63. So I proved to myself that it worked. How simple and easy? So if you would like to find out this simple method check it out on the video below:-
